Jan of Jan’s Sushi Bar has given me my first blog award, an Arte y Pico, which is Spanish for, um, something nice, I hope. Actually, she says, it’s a Spanish-language “style and substance blog” award. A nice compliment from an excellent blogger and Web designer.

Ooh, thank you! Yes, ByJane, I’m with you. The only thing I’ve ever won was a pair of Conway Twitty tickets back in 1987. I hate Conway Twitty.
But, I do like you MM, and you completely deserve it as you always have intelligent, interesting and humorous things to say.
